Marcus’s blog entry.
This was my second flight with my good friend Marcus who has his private pilot’s license, and who is now training for his instrument rating! For this flight he took us up around Mt. St. Helens, where we had spectacular views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, of course St. Helens itself. We could also see Mt. Hood pretty nicely and even had glimpses of Mt. Jefferson in the distance. The views of the rivers and the rich green lesser mountains were also amazing, but because of the atmospheric haze that day (and most days) those shots didn’t turn out as well. Anyway, I chose some of the better photos to show here. I hope you enjoy them. To see pretty much all the photos I took during that flight and to read more about it, check out Marcus’s blog entry about the flight, which has a link at the bottom to his flickr album with all the photos.
